William “Dock” Lindley is a self taught wood carver. Most of his carvings are of marine life including many species of fish, crabs, seahorses, etc. His inspiration comes from many years of diving, fishing, and living near the beach. Each piece is Dock’s own design, after carving he airbrushes them with iridescent paint and finishes them with polyurethane. Most of his work is using poplar wood but he has used other woods as well. He also does commission work.
